How This Calculator Works
This tool estimates fuel consumption, cost, and CO₂ emissions for Zodiac boats based on your distance in nautical miles and selected fuel type. Zodiac boats are known for their lightweight RIBs and high-performance design, often powered by efficient outboard motors.
Fuel Calculation Formula:
Fuel Used = Distance × Consumption Rate (liters per nautical mile)
CO₂ Emissions = Fuel Used × Emission Factor
Emission Factors:
- Gasoline: 2.31 kg CO₂/liter
- Ethanol Blend: 2.00 kg CO₂/liter
