This calculator uses the Mass Air Flow (MAF) reading from your vehicle to estimate how much fuel is being consumed per hour. MAF measures how much air enters the engine in grams per second (g/s). Using the Air-Fuel Ratio (AFR) and the density of your fuel, we can calculate your fuel consumption with the following formula:
Fuel Consumption (L/h) = (MAF × 3600) / (AFR × Fuel Density)
The default AFR for gasoline engines is 14.7:1. Make sure to use the correct density for your fuel type:
